Molly Cade is the main character in Spark the Fire. She is an actress/producer who owns Cade Productions.
Character Background[]
Molly's parents were doctors. When she was 14, they died in a car crash in Africa while serving with Doctors without Borders. Molly was raised by her grandparents ever since, both of whom are now dead, her grandfather 10 years ago, and her grandmother only 5 months ago. After the leaked nudes, her grandmother was so ashamed she refused to talk to Molly and died.
Five years prior to Spark the Fire, Molly, while in Chicago for a musical about the Who, had an amazing conversation followed by a one-night stand with Wyatt Fox. Wyatt later admits he saw her in the musical and loved her voice.
Molly has since rose to an A-list Hollywood actress until a hacker leaked her nude photos from her ex-husband's cloud drive (she later learns that the hacker was paid by her ex-husband to leak her nudes). Her career suffered a major blow and she starts losing job offers. She eventually took matters in her own hands and build her own production company called Cade Productions.
She wishes to tell the story of firefighter Alex Dempsey and needed a firefighter consult. This is where Wyatt came back into her life.

Ryan Michaels[]
Ryan is Molly's ex-husband. He always told her that her success in Hollywood is due to her connection with him when in reality no one ever mentioned Ryan when hiring Molly. He also micro managed her life, getting overly jealous of her male co-stars and friends, so she trained herself to make her love scenes as little convincing as possible.
When Molly divorced him, he leaked her nudes on purpose, pretending that he was hacked, under the impression that she will come crawling back to him. Ryan destroyed Molly's career and her relationship with her grandmother, who was so upset over it that she refused to speak to Molly until her death not long after.
