Jeff dated Olivia in the month after his Vegas hookup with Darcy. Though they seemed like a good match, Jeff began to doubt her when she suggested he write Darcy a check to disappear and leave the baby for him and Olivia to adopt after they get married. Jeff decided to break it off with her and resumes his pursue of Darcy instead.

Jeff met Darcy in Vegas and though their one-night tryst was short, he was very smitten with her. He was discouraged when she disappeared after sleeping with him and he couldn't find her. He was very welcoming when she told him about her pregnancy and is very supportive and protective of her and their baby. He even proposed to her several times and she rejected him because it was all for the wrong reasons. Eventually he managed to tell her that he is in love with her and genuinely wants a family with her and she agreed to marry him. They were overjoyed when their son was born and they got married sometime after that. In the end of the story, Darcy told him that she is pregnant again.
